DESCRIPTION
The Super Puff Bomber is Aritzia’s bomber-style interpretation of its iconic Super Puff. Introduced for the 2021 season and returning in 2022, it combines the oversized, highly insulated construction of the Super Puff with the shorter proportions and knitted trims of a traditional bomber jacket.
The jacket features large horizontal down-filled baffles that give it its characteristic rounded and extremely puffy silhouette. Its cropped, hip-length cut is finished with a wide rib-knit hem, while matching ribbed cuffs create a more structured bomber shape around the otherwise voluminous body and sleeves. A large insulated hood and high padded collar provide additional coverage around the head and neck.
At the front, a central zipper is protected by a snap-button storm flap, maintaining the clean appearance of the jacket while adding another layer against the cold. Several versions were produced in different colours and finishes, including the particularly striking Hi-Gloss black, whose highly reflective nylon shell exaggerates the volume of each down chamber.
Despite its compact length, the Super Puff Bomber retains the substantial insulation associated with the Super Puff family. Contemporary listings describe the model as using 700+ fill-power responsibly sourced goose down, while Aritzia training material identifies the Bomber as a hip-length Super Puff distinguished by its merino-wool trim.
