DESCRIPTION

The Mega Puff is Aritzia’s exaggerated take on the classic down jacket, built around deliberately oversized proportions and an exceptionally voluminous silhouette. The 2019 version pushes the puffer aesthetic to an extreme, with enormous horizontal down chambers, balloon-like sleeves and a wide body that creates its unmistakable rounded shape.

One of its most distinctive elements is the huge padded stand collar, which can be worn open around the shoulders or fully fastened to wrap closely around the neck and lower face. The jacket extends below the hips and combines its extreme volume with a relatively simple construction, allowing the oversized down sections to become the main visual feature.

The 2019 Mega Puff was produced in several finishes, including the highly reflective black version and softer pearl-toned variations shown here. Despite its fashion-forward proportions, the jacket was designed as genuine winter outerwear, using premium goose-down insulation. Aritzia’s Mega Puff line uses 700+ fill-power responsibly sourced goose down, with the brand rating later versions for warmth down to approximately -20°C / -4°F.

Its extreme proportions made the Mega Puff one of the most visually distinctive members of Aritzia’s puffer family, sitting alongside the Super Puff while taking its oversized aesthetic considerably further.
